Granite paving slabs

We produce paving slabs as calibrated granite elements for pedestrian areas, terraces, squares and entrance platforms. The face is either sawn or flamed, which keeps it even and makes the geometry predictable. Compared with small setts the difference lies mainly in format, so these pieces suit orderly paving built from larger units.

Three stones are available: Pokostivske, Leznykivske and Didkovychi. Among them Pokostivske reads as an even grey dotted with fine dark inclusions, Leznykivske brings a red-pink tone with dark mineral grains, and Didkovychi warms towards brown-pink. If the required variety is absent, it can be produced to order, so the choice goes beyond the named stones. Because natural material varies between batches, a physical sample is approved with the format and finish.

A sawn finish leaves an even face with crisp edges, while flaming alters the surface character without changing the stone itself. When choosing stone and finish, keep the future area in mind: it shapes the look of the paving. A separate section describes the properties, finishes and uses of each stone.

Size comes from the project: both standard and custom formats are possible, and a picture alone cannot set them.

Every item in the specification carries its length, width and thickness. Before the workshop begins, format, tolerances and weight are settled, and packaging is agreed among those parameters. Requirements for the layout, the direction of rows and the colour combination are added as well.

Think through how the paving will join kerbs, drainage and other scheme elements, since this affects the layout and the number of pieces. An area of complex shape is shown on a dimensioned sketch. The paving area, sketch and preferred dimensions are sent for review, and the piece count if it is known. Once it arrives, the list is checked, the format clarified and packaging confirmed; production starts only when every item is agreed.

The weight and quantity calculator works with the chosen stone: it shows how much a single piece weighs, how many pieces fit in 1 m² and how many make up 1 tonne. That helps to plan the volume and prepare the data for the order.
