Split granite setts

Split granite setts are a classic, hard-wearing paving material with a naturally split surface, used for roads, courtyards, parks and historic spaces. They come as standard or custom sizes, so the format of every piece is matched to the task. The split surface is what gives the paving its distinctive look.

For this item we work with Pokostivske, Leznykivske or Didkovychi granite; any other stone is produced to a separate order. These stones differ in tone — from calm grey through rich red to warm brown-pink — and each reads differently once laid. The finish here is split, and the intended use is paving and landscaping.

A stone name alone is not enough to choose by, since natural stone shifts in shade and pattern from batch to batch. Each order therefore starts with a physical sample taken from the current batch, and the acceptable spread of shades goes into the specification. A screen image is no substitute for the sample itself.
