How do I choose between split, sawn and tumbled setts?
Choose by surface character and geometry: split setts keep a natural, uneven face, sawn setts have straight edges and give a predictable laying pattern, and tumbled setts have softened edges with an aged look. Stone and finish are fixed in the specification before production.
What should I send so you can estimate the paving quantity?
Send the paving area, the site layout, the preferred piece format and the quantity if you already know it. The calculator on the website works out the weight of one piece and the number of pieces per m² and per tonne for the stone you select.
What is agreed in the specification, and is installation included?
Stone, finish, length, width, thickness, tolerances and packaging. The format and weight are confirmed before production, delivery, transport and unloading are agreed individually, and installation is a separate scope unless expressly agreed.
