More about this product
Turned and milled vases are made from natural stone. They serve living and decorative arrangements — cut flowers, plants and seasonal displays. A vase also stands as a separate stone element that completes a memorial composition and keeps its look whole.
Suitable stones include Pokostivske, Leznykivske, Didkovychi and Maslavske granite, plus Holovyne labradorite and Bukynske gabbro; other stone is ordered separately. Tones differ: calm grey Pokostivske, red-pink Leznykivske, warm brown-pink Didkovychi, olive-green Maslavske, dark Holovyne labradorite with blue iridescence and near-black Bukynske gabbro. Finishing sets the surface: polishing brings a gloss, honing leaves it matte. The application is memorial products, so colour and finish are usually agreed with the monument and the rest of the plot.
Polished or honed is a matter of intent: one echoes the monument's gloss, the other stays restrained. The format is chosen for the place on the plot, the size of the arrangement and the way the vase stands beside the monument. Work begins once the dimensions, stone, sketch and decorative treatment are agreed. Size, shape and decoration are settled in advance so the piece matches its place and the overall idea. For a vase that must stand by an existing monument, photographs and a short description are attached.
Production follows your dimensions, so the specification records length, width and thickness. Format, tolerances and packaging are agreed before work starts. A sample from the current batch is the reference, since stone varies from batch to batch and shade and pattern may differ. Final finish, colour and dimensions are checked against that approved sample in the specification, not against a photograph.
To have a request reviewed, send the preferred dimensions, stone, a sketch or description of the shape and the number of pieces. A colour sample or a site photograph helps settle the future look. The calculator gives the mass of one piece in the chosen stone and shows how many vases come from 1 m² and from 1 tonne. If the choice is hard, send several preferences: they are considered together and you are told which stone and finish combinations are available. Where needed, the vase is matched to the monument from photographs so the plot reads as a whole.
Frequently asked questions
What are memorial vases intended for?
For fresh flowers and decorative arrangements — cut flowers, plants and seasonal displays. A vase is a separate stone element that complements a memorial composition and keeps it visually consistent.
Which stones and finishes are available?
Pokostivske, Leznykivske, Didkovychi and Maslavske granite, Holovyne labradorite and Bukynske gabbro. The surface may be polished or honed, so glossy or matte.
What is needed to make a vase?
Approval of the dimensions, stone, design and decorative details. If the vase has to coordinate with a monument, include photographs and a description so the plot reads as a whole.
How do I get a price?
Send the preferred dimensions, stone, a sketch or description of the shape and the number of pieces. Price depends on stone, dimensions, finish and order volume, so a quotation is prepared once the data is received.
