An entrance group means the steps, platform and edging that greet guests. Granite works both as a decorative and a practical material: it does not wear underfoot, absorb water or need painting.

What it consists of

Steps in polished, honed or flamed finish, a platform, kerbs and plinth cladding. For outdoor steps a rougher finish is safer; platforms are often honed.
